NUNO Corporation is known internationally for combining traditional textile skills with modern technologies to create innovative textiles. Nuno means ‘cloth' in Japanese. The Nuno fabrics in this exhibition take sashiko for their inspiration. Here, the 'stitched' look is created by the geometric pattern on the multi-layered woven fabric.
